Engaging Women Virtual Summit
Client: Saint Mary’s College WEI
Saint Mary’s College is an all-women’s school in Notre Dame, IN that provides women with an outstanding education. In addition to the normal college academics, Saint Mary’s is home to the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, which has helped thousands of women in the Michiana area take steps toward entrepreneurship.
Problem: How Can a College Digitize a Fundraising Event on a 6 Week Timeline?
Like most businesses in 2020, WEI needed to find new ways to fund raise in the midst of the pandemic. Their SPARK program, a business accelerator that has helped more than 260 women launch 90 businesses since 2011, usually receives funding through the Engaging Women Virtual Summit put on by WEI each year.
With an in-person summit out of the picture, the WEI program came to Momentum Marketing Consultants looking for alternative solutions on a tight time frame.
Solution: Research, Website, Videos and Targeted Digital Ads
Within 6 weeks, Momentum was able to help WEI visualize an online summit. We created a website, explored online conference platforms, and ran digital ads that expanded the summit from a local event to a national one.
The team also recorded videos of SPARK graduates to help promote sponsorships for the program.
Most importantly, we pulled off the event with enough sponsors and attendees to keep the SPARK program funded.
